Our Story
Join ST. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church in experiencing God's love and reveling in His glory. We are a pre-denominational Christian fellowship holding Holy Communion services for the general public in Northern California every Sunday. What began as a small group of believers in Walnut Creek has grown into a united Anglican church in Livermore, CA.
We also belong to the Anglican Province of Christ the King in the diocese of the Western States, and we follow the traditional worship service. The clergy of St. Francis including the Right Reverend Donald Ashman (our Bishop Ordinary) and the Reverend Larry Shaddix (our Rector), invite you to encounter God in the fullness of His revelation in Jesus Christ.
Worship God with us as a family in Holy Communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper, the Eucharist, and the Blessed Sacrament. Our church celebrates this every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
Encourage your children to participate in our summer youth retreat, where they can strengthen their connection to God and meet other Christ-centered teens.
For adults, you may join our Lenten retreats, where you can strengthen your faith in the Lord. These silent retreats, which often occur during the first or second week of Lent, offer peaceful surroundings and thoughtful meditations conducted by our clergy.
